On the basis of Article 18, of the Law on the Scientific and Research Activities, the founders of the Integrated Business Institute (IBI) on the founding meeting on the 1.06.2011 voted the following:
Scientific Research Programme at the Integrated Business Institute
The Integrated Business Institute is a scientific, researching and consulting institution in the field of economics and management. The functioning of the Institute will be based upon the application of the market principles of working and creating of young, dynamic and highly educated and qualified students, through the process of research and education.
The Institute will operate both as a scientific and a consulting institution, offering its services to domestic and foreign clients, institutions and agencies. The scientific approach will be based on a multidisciplinary approach towards the fundamental and applied research in the path of developing managerial consulting, education and training, and publishing activities.
- Research in the field of economics and organizational management (including analysis, diagnosis, and forecasting of short-term, medium and long-term methods of research)
- Consulting services
- Publishing activities
- Organizing conferences, seminars, trainings, symposiums
- Organizing post-graduate and doctoral studies
- Development of educational and scientific models for lifelong and distance learning

Research in the field of economics and organizational management
This research is based on a multidiscipline approach which is in accordance with the dynamic changes and the development of the eco-political and social surrounding in the globalization era. This type of approach allows for the economic research that is part of the research activity of the Institute to be connected to all relevant aspects of researching, such as social, technological, organizational, institutional and cultural aspects. The methodologies adopted by the Institute are internationally approved and applied. These applied methodologies will allow for different comparative analysis on domestic and international level. The researching activities of the Institute will be mostly focused in these areas:

The Institute will offer professional and consulting services for developing corporation strategies, finances, transactions, valorization of companies, development of business plans, feasibility studies, market analysis, tax consultations, consulting for banking activities, education etc. Research for uncovering the optimal solutions for the clients’ problems in different working areas, especially focusing on:
- Corporate strategy
- Corporate finance, business valuation (MVA, NVA)
- Recruitment and development of HR
- Marketing strategy
Publishing activities
As part of its publishing activities, IBI will publicize:
- Results of its scientific projects
- Case studies and good governance of consulting activities
- A journal for Business Economy based on the scientific discoveries of the Institute staff, as well as the wider domestic and international scientific community
- Will publish studying guides In the field of economy and management
- Translations of scientific works in the selected areas of interest
- Manuals, guides and other working materials,
Organizing conferences, seminars, trainings, symposiums
As a mean of dissemination of its scientific accomplishments, innovations and discoveries, the Institute will organize different scholarly debates, roundtables, academic gatherings, seminars and other types of activities mainly intended for the domestic but as well for the international academic community
Organizing post-graduate and doctoral studies
The Institute will organize post-graduate studies in the following fields:
- Financial management

- Environmental economics
The Institute will organize doctoral studies in the following fields:

Development of educational and scientific models for lifelong and distance learning
The Integrated Business Institute is in the process of developing the technological, institutional and educational capacities for allowing lifelong and distance learning concepts. IBI is the pioneering institutions in R. Macedonia that is trying to establish distance learning studies, and although they are only a pilot programme we are more than confident we will be able to include them in our regular curricular activities.
